Well, this was unexpected.
Right now, Stockton University is on an extended Spring Break, and after that, classes will not resume in-person but online only. Yesterday, Governor Phil Murphy called for an indefinite shut-down of all schools--that means elementary, middle, high school, parochial, and higher ed (that's us). While Stockton has yet to release an official statement about the closing of the university, it is highly unlikely that we will be back on campus in the near future.
So what does this mean for the Argo?
As no one will be on campus, and it has been recommended that no one venture there anytime soon, the Argo won't be distributed as a physical newspaper in the racks at Galloway, Atlantic City, Galloway, and Hammonton. Instead, we will be publishing a digital version of the Argo, much like what you already see here on the website.
Let's hope that these changes aren't for long and, most importantly, that everyone here in the Stockton community stays strong, safe, and healthy.
We would like to thank all of our readers for their ongoing support. You'll be hearing from us soon with more Stockton news!
